I just had a dream so intense that I need to write it down.....

Did you ever have a dream that was so intense that you thought it was real and everything you saw actually happened?

I just don't understand some people.....

I was only out to buy some simple things today. I had some change left and I went to a nearby park to give it to a homeless person. I couldn't find one and went back to the train station and mall where I started. A man was standing there in front of the entrance, with heavy luggage, a huge backpack and a big suitcase. He asked me for change and said he has no place to sleep. I was unsure about

    I miss these glorious Saturdays.....

I have seen this thread in the Crossover group about saturday morning cartoon openings (that's now deleted) in my feed and it triggered it..... The memory of the Saturdays when a new episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aired. I miss these Saturdays..... Watching a new episode, waiting for an upload, downloading it, rewatching it 3 - 5 times, writing an analytical review of the episode

Selfishness has been my wrong motivator for the longest time..... and people don't see who I really am because of that.

A lot of people in the fandom don't understand who I am and think of me as a bad person. My friend sometimes does, too, and doesn't trust me anymore because of that. There have been moments when she literally asked me "Who are you?". I was always thinking this was stemming from trust issues that she developed because of events in her past and I was only marginally attributing the cause for this

"Legends of Equestria" is slowing down my writing a little..... But more will come! + Hiatus Explanation (IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ!) · 3:28pm Dec 9th, 2016

As many of you probably know, "Legends of Equestria" is starting its Limited Access Release (aka closed beta test) on Monday. This will lead to my output being a little slower than you're used to.
I won't fall into another unannounced hiatus, don't worry! This is why I'm writing this blog entry, to inform you what's going on. It won't be much slower either, just a little.
I'm busy with preparations for the LAR since Tuesday and will have to do some more today, which is the reason why "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" has not gotten its new chapter yet (which will be a special chapter and different from what you know, I post something about that soon!) and the same goes for the next chapter of "Aunt Millie".
There will be another chapter of "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" this week, but most likely not for "Aunt Millie" anymore, however, there will be another chapter for the latter next week again!

I also want to use this opportunity to apologize for my long and unannounced writing hiatus for both stories. The mid-season hiatus of Season 6 had turned me into a slog and I was also busy accustoming to my new writing duties for "Legends of Equestria", as well as busy getting used to a weekly update schedule for two fics and in the end, I didn't manage to fit "Aunt Millie" in properly.
Same goes for my Flurry Heart fic. Although it wasn't as bad as with "Aunt Millie" and it was due to me going through some drama, writing a fanfiction for Crackle Pop and pushing myself really hard with that one and the resulting burnout on writing (the fact I still tried to push myself to get the chapters out instead of giving myself the much-needed rest for a few days didn't help matters either), I still got out of the loop with it a bit, but those are the reasons why the updates became a lot more sparse until I picked up my pace last month again.

The really big problem here, though, is that I didn't explain any of this at the appropriate time. You have to know that I'm a very determined writer who is hard on himself; as long as there are no natural catastrophes, illnesses or burnout from working too hard, there is nothing that can stop me from writing.
So I kept pushing myself and hoped the hiatus for "Aunt Millie" wouldn't last long, not long enough to having to explain what's keeping the fic from progressing, but then more and more time passed, eventually it became a habit of hoping that my hiatus would be over soon and I did not even notice anymore how long it had been until I realized how much time had passed without the fic updating.
Which is a shame, because "Aunt Millie" has a lot of personal meaning for me and I feel like I failed both myself and the fic as well as my readers for letting it rot so long and for not explaining anything about that hiatus.
This also shows in the views, the hiatus did hurt "Aunt Millie" severely and views for new chapters are quite lower than I was used to, and even my Flurry Heart fic suffered from getting lower views due to that, which still remains even though there are four new chapters now.
This showed me more than anything that I lost a lot of trust from readers because of not announcing or, at least explaining, those hiatuses, after I finally got into a more or less consistent update schedule.
What I experienced here is a lesson learned the hard way:

Never have unannounced hiatuses for the fic projects you're working on. :ajsleepy:

All I can do is keep writing and hope to regain that trust eventually.
From now on, there won't be any unannounced hiatuses (if there are any hiatuses) or breaks from writing again! I owe my readers the tremendous success I had both with "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" and "Aunt Millie", so I will properly inform you about any interruptions in the updating process now.

So, what does this mean for my two fics now, with the upcoming LAR of "Legends of Equestria"? Not a whole lot, as there is not much going to change.
When the servers open on Monday, the first five days will be spent by me with constant playing (aside from two appointments I have on Thursday and Friday), which means, there isn't any writing going to happen.
"Legends of Equestria" is a game that means the world and my life to me and I follow it for almost three and a half years, when I played it the first time, now and saw its development from a very early pre-alpha stage on when the game was merely a nice 3D simulation of Equestria with not much to do in it and I couldn't wait for a release and for playing it 24/7 ever since.
Now the moment has finally come and I will use all the advantage of this by non-stop playing for the first few days.
After these five days, however, I will resume writing. On Saturday, the 17th, I will start on a new chapter for "Aunt Millie" and will have it done and published on the following day.
And after that, in the week leading up to Hearth's Warming, I will put out a chapter for each fic again.
Once those are out, I will go into a short holiday break for both fics, which will last approximately until January 9th. I will be writing on something else on the days between the holidays, though, as there is a fic I promised to write for someone and I finally need to get on this. Once Hearth's Warming draws closer, I will write another blog entry to explain everything in more detail.

That's it for an overview of the coming weeks! A new chapter for Flurry Heart will come out over the weekend!
I'm also writing on a short surprise project which will be out soon as well, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
And thank you for reading, if you came that far, and your (hopefully) continued support!

I try to ignore views and stats, I just try to keep myself interested in the story and process :)

this next monday?

I am interested in them. That's not the problem. I just didn't announce a hiatus and neither explained the lack of updates.
That was a very big mistake, I know that now.
