    Ponyfeather Edition of Mendacity!

Very, very belated post, this, and I daresay many folks who would be interested in this have already found out one way or another on their own, but better late than never, I suppose. As of, um, about a month ago, Mendacity is available to order from Ponyfeather Publishing, in both hardcover and softcover editions!

    Not Dead Yet!

Well! Um. It's, ah, been a while, hasn't it? Lots of water under the bridge, lots of stories unwritten, lots of comments unanswered...

    Calling all artists!

Well! The first chapter of my de-ponyfied version of Rise and Fall is complete, and all that remains is the final tidbits and tiddlywinks for those folks who most generously opted for one of the higher reward tiers. I just completed the illustration for the chapter this evening, and, well...My artistic chops, it would seem, are not quite up to

The Rise and Fall of the Dark Lord...Sassafras?

Yes, you read correctly; Sassafras, not Sassaflash. Having mulled the idea over for some time, I've decided it's time I began writing again—and my current rather impecunious state helped me narrow down what to write rather nicely. The possible Celestia fic I mentioned may still happen, but today is not its day—nor will my own worldbuilding yet see dawn, as that's still in rather too

The Rise and Fall of the Dark Lord Sassaflash is Complete!

Exactly what it says on the tin. More than 100,000 words later, my tale of an angsty necromancer and her unflappable minion and friend has come to a close. Here it be. If you haven't already taken a gander, and if you liked Mendacity (or heck, even if you didn't), please, take a look—and if you've

Well! The first chapter of my de-ponyfied version of Rise and Fall is complete, and all that remains is the final tidbits and tiddlywinks for those folks who most generously opted for one of the higher reward tiers. I just completed the illustration for the chapter this evening, and, well...My artistic chops, it would seem, are not quite up to the task. The result is serviceable, and it'll be going up for this chapter, but it could be better, and I want it to be better.

So! That's where y'all come in. If any of you artistic lot would be interested in contributing some of your talent to the good cause, with a few bits to be earned in the process (the details of that, we can work out; it won't be much, alas, as I've not many patrons so far, but it'd be something, at least), please, drop me a message with an example or three of your work, and let's work something out.

Oh wow. You really made a deponified version? You went and did it eh? That is excellent! Now to find places to publish it.

You don't need 'an artist'. You need a film crew and 200 million for FX.

Perhaps the trick isn't to de-ponify the story but to ponify the world to match it!

If nobody steps up I could give doing some art a shot but I'm moving for the next couple weeks. Its only 150 miles away but its up a canyon in the winter and I have to bring horses and fencing and other animals. Too much work!

Well, I won't lie, I'd rather have seen a new story by you, but I'm still quite excited by this.

Hey, is this still a thing?

My artistic talents can be at your disposal, though instead of monetary payment I’d ask you to help me brainstorm a story about another interpretation of the Fae.
