I've been working on a Midgardian Union Banner (the world uniting government that was in power before the aliens initiated a strike on earth, was the one to organize the escape/evacuation from earth before it was majorly destroyed in the asteroid strikes.) It will PROBABLY (not definitely) be the Banner of the North Star Rike.

The tree in the center is the world tree, Yggdrasil. A symbol of a world united, bridging the connection between cultures. The Midgardian Union was founded as an union of the Nordic Rike (an democratic constitutional empire, spanning all of Europe Except for Greek Anatolia (turkey was a country in Iran that was largely Nordic) practicising reformed Nordic paganism. The head of the faith being the Fylkira, second daughter of the Empress, and passed from aunt to niece (the second daughter of the next empress), Japan (under a personal union after the Imperial families intermarried) which was around half Shinto half Norse pagan (northern Germanic priests having come with the diplomats which helped to negotiate the alliance against the Mongolian Empire during the reign of Genghis Khan, and having arrived in larger numbers after the Mongolian Empire was beaten back (Genghis Khan having been slain in the battle of Syrt), and later adopted Norse paganism itself). The Republic of Mali (spanning most of Northern Africa, and the entirety of western Africa). The Indian Empire, and the Republic of (Southern) Vinland (a former English colony that was largely given autonomy after England was integrated with the Nordic Rike and the imperial family united into a single line). The current North Star Rike is largely secular, and if you've ever played Stellaris, would best be described as a militaristic, Xenophilic, Individualist empire with materialist leanings. They tend to favor a cruiser oriented fleet with help from carriers.

A lighter aerospacecraft, intended for operations in both atmosphere and the vacuum of space. Usually used by the Home Fleet, but the Patrol Fleet keeps a few of them for slaver/pirate hunts. Sometimes with the permission of the planet they are operating in orbit over... sometimes not.

Hmm... I think the symbolism of the haradly could change, for instance, make it a three pronged cross, representing the crossroads of Midgardr, Asgardr, and Hellheimr, and change the colors a bit so as to have a rainbow going straight up, a earthy brown on one prong, and yellow on the third. Yggdrasil should remain white, and there should be a field of black or red behind, symbolizing the abyss of space or the blood spilt to save humanity respectively.
Then again, that's my suggestions. The current flag looks cool though.
