Twifight Sparkill

• I'm one book short of a trashy paperback trilogy, written entirely in crayon. "Dense and vague, yet unimaginably interesting." - Regidar.

Swarm Life #8 - by Twifight Time People Cold Reminder. · 7:49am Dec 3rd, 2016

Find the rest of the Swarm comic here.

LOL :rainbowlaugh:

Best line from Celestia ever: "AWFUL SHITHOLE!"

Not sure if it's funny because I can hear it in her voice, or because I use the term 'shithole' all the time. :scootangel:

Also I like the subtle plot info here. Mentioning of a coup and so forth.

This is a part of the initial story arc. I er...well, there you go.

ONWARDS!

Ah, Philosophy. Such a wonderful thing.
(Panel 3&4 Twifight's cutie mark is making an escape)

OMG YOU'RE RIGHT!

... damn it, how did that happen!? THAT IS A GROUPED IMAGE! That's not able to come apart! HOW DID... I mean, what could have happened to ... well fuck. I'll go fix it right now. SHIT.

Thank you for pointing that out, Navieka. I appreciate the notice.

... FUMING RIGHT NOW. SO MAD! I UH... um. Okay, fixed. YAY!

So if I understand your little introspective, existential train of thought correctly (which I probably don't), Ferret has been in charge for all of five minutes, and already you're her political prisoner. Without her even realizing it until after the fact. She is either really good at being an adorable little tyrant or really bad at it.

Not to be too spoiler-ish: Sparkill went to jail for breaking one of her own monstrous laws.

As far as Celestia goes, um... she's not actually Celestia - she's bookplayer. I WILL EVENTUALLY EXPLAIN HOW AND WHY!

Yeah, things were so much simpler when I thought Sparkill had been arrested for...

*rolls a 100-sided die*

Ooh, drunken disorderly conduct!

4328368

That isn't completely WRONG, yannow.

Twifight is stuck in her own jail, and her political surrogate/offspring is just as surprised as anyone - doesn't that just make sense, considering what a bumbling monarch Sparkill is?

Just saying that you're right, and ... wait, why did she let herself get arrested, exactly?

... comics are so complicated.

4328317 Mom! You said I could be Celestia! And I got all dressed up.

At least this mane-do looks fabulous with my hat.

Good gravy! You could NEVER be Celestia! After Chrysalis and Tirek, she's proven to be too BUMBLING to be a reasonable comparison to you, ya smartie-pants! Bookplayer is only an educated facsimile of the actual royal in the comic because... well, she's my real life Celestia: a teacher and a friend from the beginning, offering her kindness and experience happily despite my INEPTITUDE! SIGH! Lovely.

You're gonna be Luna - not a copy, but the REAL-although-obviously-still-my-MLP-based-comic-AU Luna! Poisoning dreams, manipulating the entire populace unawares while they sleep; appearing quietly reformed yet inwardly still just as dangerously evil as ever?? ... plus Luna would look SO HOT in a top hat, you dig? YEAH YOU DIG! Picture it - Luna without a top hat = normal, servile, younger goddess alicorn leader. With top hat? Cold, calculating, megalomaniacal goddess horse with a thirst for ULTIMATE CONTROL!

Some things just end up being perfect on their own.
