It returns from the depths... · 2:17am Nov 17th, 2016
Yeah, that's damn well right! Going Deep Under (Or In Too Deep as I now jokingly call it after that Sum 41 song) is coming back from the depths of my imagination, and a bit earlier than I expected I must say. Originally I had it's removal from hiatus sometime in December, but now I figure I can get at least two more chapters out sometime this month, perhaps even next week if my brain will allow me. I've got ideas for these next two chapters and some smaller ones for the ones beyond it in my head, so the wheels, they are a-churning and the steam pipes a-pumpin'. (Sorry, just couldn't resist.). As for what you can expect for these next two chapters, I can tell you there will be flashbacks, action, and even a bit of romance! And on that subject, I want to ask you a question and put up a poll. I want to pair Twilight up with someone in the story, and a female character at that, just to give those stuffy 1930s era bigots something to talk about if she gets home.
Here are your choices:
A: Night Glider
B: Silver Spanner
C: Lightning Dust
D: Silver Speed
E: One of the Blast Sisters
G: Eclipse Moon (The one with an earring in her ear)
F: Solar Blitz
Giveth me your thoughts on what you guys think would be the best choice for Twilight to pair off with and any other Going Deep Under thoughts as well, including anything you'd like to see in future chapters. And now, for some awesome Kraken artwork!
I'm choosing Night Glider, cause I like her design and I see a bit of Rainbow Dash in her personality.
And I would found funny if, during there stay in the Triangle, they cross path of a modern (for us) supercarrier ship and a fleet of Kamikaze pilots. This is of course a reference to the movie "The Final Countdown".
4305647 Maybe I should do that, just for added comedy. As a side note, your mention of the movie, or any mention in general makes me think of this song:
I kinda prefer Lightning Dust, but i want to try something different so I'll choose Night Glider!
I am excited to potentially read more Sulu I mean Gallants dialogue.
Release the Kraken!
4306147 Yeah, I guess someone had to say it didn't they?
4305864 Don't worry, he'll get some in the coming chapters, as he'll be one of those characters that holds the crew together like glue. In fact, I'll give you a short preview of one of his lines that I want to use in an upcoming chapter.
"Returning the crew to the ship so we can all die together, sir."
And as a Star Trek fan, can I just say that I love you comparing Gallants to Sulu.
