All the Nightmares came today

And it looks as though they're here, to stay...
Afternoon everyone

Ever write something into being that was part of a planned story, but not actually planned at all? That's about how today's chapter came into existence. The whole nightmare sequence wasn't in the outline Celestia was basically going to be a cameo, and I honestly never thought I was ever going to write from Twilight's perspective in this story. Weird how things happen like that. in any case, this chapter introduces Celestia and shows her and Twilight's dynamic along with setting up the next chapter, which was actually supposed to be part of this and the last chapter which has gradually been getting longer as I write. Chaos is fine as long as it's controlled chaos. Important points of Celestia's visit were mentioned so I suppose there isn't really anything wrong with more or less giving her her own chapter here.
Another funny thing about this chapter, it was all written yesterday. Not necessarily in one sitting but I was on a roll. It's always nice when I'm productive on days where I really don't have anything to do. Which of course isn't exactly true because I really do have a project due on Monday, but that isn't something that I can't just whip up in an hour since it's a "record for X amount of time Y" kind of project and all I have to do is fill in the blanks. The next chapter should be an Action chapter after the three time split that's happened now. Not necessarily a bad thing, just unexpected that getting here would take this long. All the same, I'm pretty happy with the way Celestia acts here, so she may show up again just for the sole purpose of me writing her in this again.

Bleh. I hate being sick. this past week, I've woken up every day with a sore throat and some unholy thing to spit up in the morning that looks like my nose forgot which hole it belongs to. It's awful. I don't have any medicine for this kind of thing anymore, I'm too cheap to go get some, and so Ramen is my only solace from the evil snot monster. November am I rite? I usually love this month when I'm not sick, and it all usually wears off by the time December comes around, but dear god does it suck when it's sick in full force. WORST PONE.
I'm pretty much in limbo for the rest of November though. in most of my classes, there's a final project that's due at the end of the semester, or the second week in December, but from now until then, I kind of have no real assignments to keep me busy. I could spend a whole bunch of time working on those projects, but at the same time, I have no desire to get it done too early. my motivation to go to some of my classes is dangerously low as it is, I don't really need a reason to not go at all. I have been writing short stories lately for Creative writing though. I'll link those here in the event anyone wants to read them. None of them are more than 1500 words, so it should take a few minutes at best to read any of them.

[Good Hunter] is basically me retelling the first scene in bloodborne.

[Sinking] is more of a prose poem than a short story (inspired by this song), but something I turned in all the same. It's technically a short story.

[Lady of the Dying Light] is my own spin on a dark souls style story with absolutely no similarities or parallels to pony in any shape or form. At all.

Now that the self promotion is out of the way, I don't really have anything else to say today. Take my recent consistency with a grain of salt, as it may not stay that way due to me being me. If you do read any of my linked stories, let me know what you think about them in the comments.
