Happy Anniversary to Long Live the Queen!

That's right, today is the day Long Live the Queen's first chapter was published. It has been a long year, and I've written a lot of pony words, but I have had fun with it! I just want to thank all of you wonderful readers for sticking with me even though my updates are erratic (school and work and homework just have made it hard to write for fun! ) The good news though is, once Spring semester is over this next year I AM DONE! Which means hopefully more time to write! Just got to survive until May.
Anyway I promised you all a little treat for LLtQ's anniversary, and here it is:
my newest picture I did in my art class (this time we had to use paints, which I hate as they never turn out how I like, but eh...) but at least my professor is kind enough to let me draw what I wanted for it, and that was a little family portrait of our dear Shiny and his siblings! (Of course I was limited on what colors I had and ability to mix them, so some colors are off *cough* Like Dew looking a lot like Firefly *cough* but I still like it and hope you all enjoy as well!)

We have Shiny Whistle(of course), Dew Song in the center, and their brother Velvet Beat hovering in the background. Outside the window flying by is their mother, Dancing Mystery. (Whom I don't think I have mentioned even her name yet... but yeah! ) You can see why I hate paints, they just turned out kind of meh. (That and I really didn't like the paper we were supposed to use.. didn't work well for colored pencil which is why I changed to permanent marker for Dew and Velvet.
And the day is still young, we are currently at 979 views for Long Live the Queen. That's just 21 more to go for 1000! Can we do it? Will we make it? I don't know as I have to head to work soon, but if we do make it to 1000 views by midnight MST (it is currently 2:11pm MST) then I will do another special treat for you all! I will not only SING the songs I have written up for Long Live the Queen, but I will also PLAY them on my Penny Whistle for you! I'm really nervous about singing or playing my penny whistle for an audience, so give me the incentive to do so by helping me get my dream of 1k views today!
