Season Eight Episode Reviews: Molt Down

This week is a Spike episode? What a re-”molt”-ing development this is!

Let's look at “Molt Down,” the episode that will surely be perfectly normal and have no long-lasting repercussions on a character's appearance.

Season Eight Episode Reviews: Break Up Break Down

I dread going into this week's episode. For today, we discuss matters of the heart. Romance, love, heartbreak, and all that rot. Which means we run right into the most loathsome of all fandom constructs, the kind of thing that destroys friendships and leaves the most brilliant of minds curled up helplessly in a corner, foaming from the mouth:

    SHIPPING.

There is nothing worth living for.

I get in line for a possible promotion at work, the country elects the guy promising to kill my employer.

I wish I could kill myself.

Don't kill yourself.
Move to Nova Scotia.

4291247 Probably the US election.

Honestly if your nation is so bigoted and supportive of a man who would be going to court next month on pedophilia charges then I can't blame him.

You moral voters have chosen moral scum.
Your "financial" voters have chosen a man who's going to only benefit the rich. (namely himself)
Your isolationist voters have spoken, they want want no immigrants because diversity is evil.
Your phobic voters have spoken (race, religion, gender and whatever else Trump has shown himself to be or be tolerant of) They want a "pure" nation.

Hopefully Clinton pulls a win out of her ass.

If not...

Congratulations, you're 1930's Germany. Hopefully it goes better for you than it did for them.

4291263 I'll put you up in Ontario for a bit, no need to go where there's no jobs... Or you could go to BC.

4291263

I can't afford to move. Even if I could, I don't even have a fucking passport.

I choked myself. It didn't work. :raritycry:

America is doomed.

I totally get where you're coming from. Today has been an absolute disaster, and the next four years are going to be hell, even for Trump supporters. Especially for Trump supporters, although they don't realize it yet.

Still, all we can do is regroup and try to rebuild. Batten down the hatches. Probably start some sort of underground resistance movement.

I hope you do post again. We all need each other now more than ever.

Hold on, man. Hold on.

4291272
Even if Trump wins, he won't be winning by a landslide by any means. We're not 1930s Germany.

4291398 I dunno, man. We just (probably) elected a president who has stated ahead of time that he is willing to discard election results he doesn't like. That was concerning as a candidate, but as a president who has four or eight years to entrench himself? It's actually terrifying, and that is about the first 1% of the problems with Trump. Will NATO exist in four years? Who knows.

4291410
I'm not saying that it isn't scary, but the President still has his power checked by Congress. And the military swears an oath of loyalty to the Constitution, not the President. If Trump tries anything untoward the military is obligated to stop him.

I'm so, so sorry for you.

No really, I am. I'm not from the US but I've been following this election closely. Lastest I heard was a 35-ish chance of him winning, with the caveat that the polls suffered from too many undecided voters who looked at their options and just gagged.

I wanted to go to the United States so badly for years, but now, I'm not so sure anymore.

Before you raise Hillary to saint hood read this Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal oh and before anyone gets their nickers in a twist I took down my own comment.

4291473 You're a dickhead.

Look we were screwed either way, Trump wins, we're fucked, Clinton wins, we're fucked. We had no choice in the matter no matter what.

4291272

There's not much support. 60ish% of trump voters are upset they voted for trump. 50ish% of Clinton voters are upset they voted for clinton. Very few people are happy with this election and haven't been since the two parties decided on their candidate. But please, feel free to be a blanket-throwing douche at a time when heads are hot and depression is high.

4291544
what's the matter cant take a little disagreement ?

4291572 No? You support someone by voting for them. Even if you despise them you're showing your support by voting for them.

A sad day for America indeed. We have had worse presidents, though. I wonder if he will even able to accomplish anything with how much his own party hates him. He will be met with resistance at every turn.

Dont worry, the mental programming from the team of Cognitive scientists Hillary employed will be broken eventually. New Hitler did not get elected. Everything will be just fine.

4291272

evidence, evidence, evidence. Give me one sound clip from him that says he's going to help the rich get richer; that he want's America to be Isolationist again; and hates the LGBTQ community and that he's going to oppress them. All you're doing is spewing what the liberal media wants you to think. And before you say that i need evidence just look at any of his speeches. He has said that he want to fix the Loopholes in the tax code so that everyone pays there fair share. https://www.donaldjtrump.com/policies/tax-plan No where in them says anything about stopping Legal Immigrants from coming in, he just wants to make sure that they are not going to fucking kill us, we have our own brand of crazy people anyway we don't need other countries. https://www.donaldjtrump.com/policies/immigration And for your last point just read this article from the Liberal media. even they think he's LGBTQ friendly. http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/donald-trump-2016s-most-lgbt-friendly-republican So why don't get off your high horse, listen to what he is actually saying and think for once.

4291473
Truth hurts?

Like when the Clinton Foundation took 25 million from Saudi Arabia, who had a direct hand in making 9/11 happen?

Your pain must be so much worse than those 2,000 some families who all lost someone.

4291685

Unfortunately in our two party system if you don't vote you're frowned upon and often ridiculed. Heck, I've been unironically called a communist for not wanting to vote. It's not as much true support as much as it is grudgingly picking the lesser of two evils. I hate Clinton, but I voted for her because I hated Trump more. Many voted trump because they hated Clinton more. It's been a horrible election season all round and not many people are happy.

So please, don't add insult to injury by insulting an entire populous.

4291253
It was a depressing election, to be sure, just gotta hang on.

Hopefully rather than a bad president, he may just turn out to be an ineffective one.

(Or maybe we will get an impeachment if someone finds his tax returns and it turns out he committed tax fraud. We can dream.)

Turns out America is more sexist than racist.

4292623 How am I insulting anyone? I'm stating a fact. A vote is a person showing their support for a candidate. You can say I'm cherrypicking the definition here but dictionary.com has it defined as "to support by one's vote:" the example even (ironically or not) that the website uses is "to vote the Republican ticket." So how am I insulting someone by using the definition of a word?

4292207 For once? Nope, I'm out. I told myself I wouldn't get drawn into insults. I've already skirted or broken that rule.

4291440

For what it's worth, none of us, well.... ALMOST none of us in the, "Average," category wanted neither of those two in office. Most of the folks I know that voted either direction did so solely because our President dictates who sits on our Supreme Court. Trump will likely choose Conservative judges, whereas Hillary would likely have chosen more Liberal ones.

4293460

So your allowed to insult us? You don't know us and you immediately call us phobic. How about that I don't want a warmonger in the office. Or maybe I don't want someone that called the black youth "superpredators." Also I would like you to respond to my links, otherwise I will think you have no idea what you are talking about.

4293853 I apologize for you taking my comment as an insult towards you. I was talking about the official KKK endorsement and skinhead support among others... If you are one of these groups then I retract my apology and request you find the nearest jackhammer to insert in your rear.
pbs.twimg.com/media/CwJIu7dVMAATkcj.jpg

Let's start with the most questionable of allegations. Trump being the most pro-gay Republican. The Republican party has for so long been against the gay community that it's not hard, not calling for conversion therapy or repealing marriage laws makes him a leader right off the bat... But what about Pence? I will concede that Trump himself probably doesn't have a personal bias against the LGBTQ community.
Pence is more than making up for it.

No where in them says anything about stopping Legal Immigrants from coming in, he just wants to make sure that they are not going to fucking kill us, we have our own brand of crazy people anyway we don't need other countries.

Because this isn't enough? I'd like to see most people survive this application process with less than 120 seconds to grab stuff and flee from their homes.

Taxes is the tricky one... Let's go to the analysis!
That tax cut is devastating. It's a larger cut in profits than you would be able to make up by cutting the entire defence budget by over 2 trillion dollars over a 10 year period assuming he breaks his promise to increase military spending.

Fun list of Trump promises.

Anything else? Because I'm sick of american politics.
