And Now There's A Prequel... · 3:27am Nov 9th, 2016
I hit a bit of a wall with Chapter 5, so I decided to write an optional prequel to Child of The Moon. You can read it here. It's going to be much darker and much shorter (I'm currently planning two chapters and an epilogue) than the main story. It's not required reading, and eventually a condensed version will appear as a flashback in C.o.T.M. The prequel should close a few of the largest plot holes, most notably how a unicorn wound up on Earth in a human body.
In future update plans, Chapter 5 is about halfway done. I'm also adding a prequel to the main story that will overlap with Darkest Night's epilogue. Both of those, as well as the rest of Darkest Night, will be done whenever I have the time and motivation. Thanks to everyone for continued support and constructive criticism.
And going by what it looks like as I write this (it's 10:30 on November 8th,) I'd say Darkest Night is about right. Welcome to the Darkest Timeline, kids.
Is this going to be really that dark?
4291183 Kind of. It'll be darker than C.o.T.M., but the epilogue will give it a relatively happy ending. Obviously, everyone who read the main story has a general idea of what happens. It's not total despair, though some things will happen I already feel slightly guilty over.
