Hello, and good wishes to all who read,
I have found myself more attracted to FIMfiction. I like to critique stories, help newer authors get on their feet. Very often I find stories using too much commas, overuse of the pause, and too much telling. I like stories whose chapters are close to the one-thousand word mark; shorter stories are easy to read. With longer stories, my interest level shrinks, and I have to plan time to actually read those monsters.
As with my critique, I prefer to review shorter stories that are done or near-completion. I also have several libraries to which I categorize stories which I have chosen to review.
1. Stories That I Like: These are stories that I enjoy. Stories that count for this include: Fics where Pinkie Pie dies horribly. Or, at the very least, she comes under severe physical/emotional pain. Also stories that are particularly well-written, where the Mane Six are written close to canon, and horror.
2. Stories That I Hate: Yes, hate is a strong word; and I just used it. I either like a story or I hate it. There is no dislike.
3. Stories That I Neither Like or Hate: In other words, stories I am neutral about.
