WORST OF THE WEEK
The last presidential debate. It started promisingly enough (moderator Chris Wallace, who works at Farce News, has generally been known for being one of its least biased personalities) but it so quickly descended into a mean-spirited free-for-all that became very painful to sit through for ANY voter, Republican or Democrat. Just as horrific was Donald Trump's transformation of the annual Al Smith charity dinner into a political campaign speech, which is a huge no-no at said dinners (hence the excessive booing).

BEST OF THE WEEK
Criminal charges against “Democracy Now” radio host Amy Goodman were dropped Monday in North Dakota. Prosecutors had charged her with participating in a riot while she covered a protest against the construction of an oil pipeline there last month...otherwise known as doing her job. And that particular job would be reporting the news.
