Question...(pre'unta) · 6:51pm Oct 20th, 2016
Yesterday a thought came to mind, and I decided to ask my followers about it (yes, the whole three of you)
I've already said we're a bunch of weirdos, and I've heard a while ago that it was kinda ironic that a kid's show could teach us how to live and treat each other correctly. So here's my question:
Do you apply on your life what you have learned from the show? Or perhaps what you've learned from a fan-fic?
Thanks for your attention.
Smell ya later.
I try to. I mean, most of the lessons from the show can also be derived from common sense, but having seen cartoon teach us those lessons tend to land a bigger impact on whether we follow that advice or not.
But the problem with lessons like the ones in the show only help fix certain situations, never a way of thinking.
How about you, mate?

Well, you're right mate, the lessons of the show are really specific, and common sense-y. But they help along. In my case, I've already said that I prefer fan work, so my bigger lessons (sort of) come from fan fics. For example Faith and Doubt by defender 2222 helped me a lot with some moral headaches I had to deal with.
And well, indeed the lessons coming from a cartoon have greater impact, it's like at the end you think to yourself "...and you needed a cartoon to learn that, you dumbass?"... or, you know, something like that.
Thanks for sharing.
Edit: Also, to change the way of thinking, you could take the show as a whole, or maybe just a season, to make a real difference
