I can't wait for Skyrim Remastered! · 1:42pm Oct 17th, 2016
As someone who can't afford pc gaming, (or even console gaming for that matter) I am very excited for the updated graphics!
Is anyone else as excited as I am?
The smallest changes can make the biggest difference.

I am.
Yep. Never played the original Skyrim, so this seems like a good introduction.

If you ever end up playing Skyrim, be prepared to spend hundreds of hours on it. I've put in over 500 hours and I'm still finding things to do!
So it's taken the Bethesda team 5 years, where as it took the PC modding community 2.
In all seriousness though, it looks amazing.
4259506 Nice. I've spent about 444 hours in Fallout 4 just on my main character, so I'll see if Skyrim can give it a run for its money.

Sad, Isn't it? I just wish I had the money to build my own computer.

I still haven't played Fallout 4.
I beat Fallout 3 and New Vegas as well as the DLCs for them in a little less than 100 hours each. How does Fallout 4 compare to them?
4259524 I have tried PC gaming... I made the terrible mistake of making my first game Dark Souls 2.
4259531 Depends on how you go about it. Certain factions can make the main questline really short (about 6 main quests and at least 8 subquests) or really long (8 main quests and 12+ subquests). There's a ton of sidequests which lengthen the game, and using high level characters (level 150+ on both playthroughs, meaning I tore through enemies) I beat Far Harbor and Nuka World in about 50 hours each, Automatron in about 5 hours, and Vault Tec in two hours (these were shorter DLCs). So yeah, if you take it at a fairly slow pace and do a bunch of sidequests and build settlements, it'll take a fair bit of time. I'm still discovering things about Fallout 4 after all my hours in it, so that should let you know how big it can be.
4259531 I should probably note that the 444+ hours on my main character, quests and settlements aside, was mostly me trying to level up so high that I got every perk in the game long before mods made it easy.

That is a terrible mistake indeed.

All I hope is that It lasts as long as Skyrim did!
Have you played any of the previous Fallouts?
4260110 Yes. I've put a few hundred hours in both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and played about an hour of the original game.
