    Travelling Tasmania

In case anyone was wondering what has happened to the next chapter of Foreign Affairs, it's on hold while I am doing a driving holiday of Tasmania. So far, I've traveled over Bass Strait on the Spirit of Tasmania to Devonport, drove to Stanley and climbed The Nut, then to Cradle Mountain National Park and hiked to Crater Lake, visited Launceston then drove to Wineglass Bay N.P. and hiked there

    More Ursa Major stuff

Also up for nomination in the Published Illustration category are the covers to my two novels – Batony12561 for "Further Off The Mark" and Maggephah for "On The Mark".

Unrelated to ponies are my other creations, the chakats, and the picture "A Night At The Fair" by A Blue Deer deserves some love too.

My reaction to the Season 6 finale · 1:17pm Oct 10th, 2016

In brief, my reaction to the Season 6 finale as seen on UK TV with regards to my stories is:

No, this is not a slight against the episode – you're probably going to enjoy it a lot if you haven't seen it already. However, if you have seen it, you will probably understand why I have reacted this way. If you have yet to see it, I'm afraid you're going to have to wait until it airs in America and I end my embargo on spoilers, and I will write another more informative blog then.

That's why we have alternate universes so we don't have to be restricted to canon ideas. Sidenote: I hate sparkly venison!:twilightangry2:

I have yet to see it, but I have heard from Sylvian that you and I do changelings better so... I'm waiting till the rest of the series hits Netflix before I resume watching as Youtube has thrown my groove off.

Viewed through the lens of my 5-year-old, though, it's awesomesauce.

*laughs* Yeah, I thought that finale was going to pose problems for you. Though, given the nature of Quantum Gallop, you could easily shoehorn in some references/explanations, or go with an "our changelings are different" approach.

This is always a danger when writing around canon that's still being written itself. Still, AU tag can help differentiate there.

It was, all things considered, a very good couple of episodes.

The ending left a little to be desired, though, over all.... :twilightblush:

Yeah, haven't seen it. Been trying to avoid watching it, so I can see it when it aires.

Getting hit by a hurricane makes it easier to avoid spoilers when you can't get on the internet with your PC. Oh well. Want to see it, but I can wait. :twilightsheepish:

I thought the episodes were very enjoyable, but I can certainly see where that will give you some ....challenges... :pinkiehappy:

And in but a single moment, a million head cannons went up in smoke, not with a bang, but a glimmer.

Well, that IS why the AU tag exists.

On the plus side, still about quarter of the FIM Bronies here got it right with their stories :rainbowlaugh:
(Although, I'm not one of them, either :facehoof: )
But at least we all now know what's going to be the main theme for Season 7 :pinkiehappy:

coudl always ay the changelings have a different origin.

albeit i, personally, have always thought that changelings suffered from a curse
