So guys, I just want to say thank you very much for reading, reviewing and liking the story. As of right now, Tainted Colors at a 41-5 like to dislike ratio and, to me, I am very surprised. The story is in 106 bookshelves and has been in the popular box for three days in a row. I have to say, the responses I am getting with this story are some of the best I have seen.
Seriously guys, thank you so much! I didn't expect such a good turnout.
If you're wondering why I decided to write this story, best stop wondering because I don't know myself. The idea just popped into my head and, here it is now. I started writing this in February and it took a LONG time for everything to go the way it is.
I do want to say this though, Child Abuse is a major concern and issue. If you are suffering from abuse or you think someone else is, GET HELP. Call someone. They will say they don't need help, but they do. I do not know anyone personally who has suffered from abuse, nor have I been abused, but as someone who is aspiring to become a teacher, I feel that I should at least discuss this issue. If/when I become a teacher, I need to help my students in anyway I can.
I cannot express this enough, if you witness abuse or have some suspensions, report it, call CPS (or whatever it's called in your state), call the police, tell a teacher, because if they don't get help, something very bad will happen. The sooner you can help yourself or someone else, the better.
