And the situation honestly is not surprising at all. Besides the fact that there will always be people with differing opinions, there's also the thing that it was soooo fucking long ago, and people tend to change over time, ya'know.

My issue with the Season 6 finale was that it basically had a subtext of 'changelings are too different, and alien, to be acceptable. So we have to change how they look entirely before they're acceptable.'

I'm glad to see them get another arc, and moderately excited to see them actually being accepted. Just perturbed that it's tinted by the shadows of xenophobia.

Man, I don't check in on the authors I follow often enough.
