What I did the other day · 2:17am Oct 7th, 2016

I went and saw several lovely beaches, looked at pretty shells and then holy butts whales appeared. twice no less. So I did a buncha whale watching and goddamn they're amazing.

Yesterday was of course the whole reason for the trip. (kidding mostly) Visiting the exceptionally dashing and dapper MrNumbers! He was wonderful fun and I introduced him to the joy that is DWK, he of youtube brilliantness(Aquaman sells him much better than me). We spent far too much time making out discussing Pratchett and how Oz is unlike Canada (Smaller personal space bubbles is a big one) and how fluffy koalas are.

I'd post pics but the internet is literally being funneled through a potato and so is unable to do those fancy pichur thingeys. I also forgot to get a selfie with number so you'll have to use your imaginations.

Good to hear you're enjoying stuff. :3

Oh man, I didn't see any whales while I was at Cape Leeuwin or on the beaches around Perth. Jelly. :fluttercry:

Oooh, so jealous.

4243898 We went out to Danger Point by way of Coolangatta, it was amazing, we're just hanging out and suddenly, GIANT SPLASH and holy shit whales. So we watched for a bit, then went onto to Danger Point proper and BAM more whales. Eveyone kept commenting on how lucky I was to see whales. This entire trip has kinda been eerily perfect. I'm sorta wondering if I should be expecting my house to be on fire when I get home 0.0

Sounds like a ton of fun. I'm just glad to hear that you are enjoying yourself, honestly.

:pinkiehappy: - Get those pictures! DO IT.

I am so massively jealous of you, Ferret, holy shit.

It sounds like you're having a great trip. It's a shame that you're not heading west* so we could meet.

* = I'm assuming that you're not heading west to Perth. It's seems that it's pretty rare for anyone to make the effort to head out to WA.

4244220 Sadly no. Staying close to Brisbane for a couple days, then flying to New Zealand to visit family then back to Brisbane area, then home.

Brisbane area meaning I'm an hour North.

I'm mostly jealous, though the Potatonet tempers that somewhat. Of course, when surrounded by that much beauty, I suppose there's less impetus to go online. :derpytongue2: Here's hoping there's more fun to come.

Australia sounds excellent. Especially when it involves whales. :pinkiehappy:

you'll have to use your imaginations

Envisioning a labcoated Twilight smiling cheerfully with an upside-down ferret skeleton atop their shoulder, as sounds perfectly correct.

Wait a second, I just realized ...

... you were at the ZOO!

But seriously, you and Numbers are both cool folks and it's awesome that you're getting to make hang out. :)
