I know I have some of you added on Discord.
I got a strange message from someone this morning "from" someone on FIMFiction inviting me to a Discord server. Said server requested that I scan a QR code to join it using my mobile Discord app.
I'm 99.9% certain that it is just a way to hijack people's accounts, doubly so as I was unable to reply to the person in question.
I randomly poked my nose back onto FIMFiction today, only to discover that ObabScribbler posted a reading of one of my stories earlier today!

A bit of an unexpected surprise, but I got a message yesterday from Spaniard Kiwi that they had translated ten of my stories into Spanish.
I'm glad to see there are people still working on bringing stories to folks who don't speak English!

Man I had a vague idea for this, involving EQG Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, with Fluttershy having been accepted to some prestigious vet school far away from whatever sports scholarship Rainbow Dash was riding on, and then lots of angst about that in addition to all the romantic bullcrap. Never got around to fully fleshing out the idea or actually writing it though. Plus I write too much EQG crap as it is.
Oh well.
Had the last writeoffs been a pony writeoff, I probably would've found the excuse to do it.
Combination of life and college happened. Sadly, my submission is still sitting in my word doc, a mere one quarter of it finished (and that unpolished). Oh well. More time to work on the finale of History Lesson, I guess. Maybe I'll eventually revisit my Flutterdash entry about high school and all the emotional and social trials thereof.
