Current Writing Status

My apologies for not keeping you guys as up to date as I'd promised to-work and life has just continued to not slow down
But here we go anyway!

With the help of my main editor Biker Dash doing his best to keep me on the straight and narrow, I've managed to get mostly back on track, so here's the scoop:

--Blue Angel is under construction.
If you notice the word count of Blue Angel changing around, don't panic-nothing is being deleted. We're just doing some editing and mainly moving the writer's notes into the correct section at the end of the chapters (this damn story has been going for so long that that option didn't exist back in 2012!)
But the main reason why we're doing these edits (besides them being sorely needed) is I intend to follow the Past Sins route and convert Blue Angel over to either a hardback or digital novel for purchase

--The Wingblade Document is also currently under construction/restructuring. It's gotten quite massive and in-depth with the help of D48, so much so that I'm having to redo its entire structure to reduce the amount of technical asides within it. Therefore, I'll be creating a need-to-know reference and definition sheet that most will need to read or at least skim so the document doesn't leave them to confused when it gets going! That's right-we're getting science-y in here again!

--The CMC Fly Delta Airlines will be updated after the next chapter of Blue Angel is up in the next month or so...speaking of which...

--The Next Blue Angel chapter WAS going to be over 40k words until Biker Dash and I sat down and decided that that was WAY too bloated and overblown. So it's not been chopped down into two more manageable chunks. In fact, that might even be why I've been putting off updating this for so long: not only is it massive, but the events of the next 2 chapters will shape the rest of the entire story forever.

So, when can we expect this next behemoth update? Well...I'm hoping by the end of this month, but a lot of it depends on my job hours (as well as all the rest of the random life crap that invariably pops up to pull one's nose away from the grindstone).
I've also gotta get caught back up on MLP:FiM itself-I haven't seen an episode since the mid-season hiatus...but I blame it on me binge-watching old school shows like this one, among others:

You know, just stuff I've been putting off watching for DECADES

I'm also making my annual return to Nightmare Nights Dallas again, so for that!

Condensing a nearly 800k story into a blog is going to be one hell of a feat. It's been so long that I don't even remember what happens in your story, save for the first couple of chapters.
