My mom and I somehow were able to find the $400.00 we needed to pay the rent for the month of October so we won't be homeless.
A long time friend who saw my mom's post on her Facebook wall about the hard times we have been going through sent her the exact amount we need to cover the rest of the rent.
We still have the months of November and December to worry about, but we are just going to take things one month at a time.
Thank you to everyone who has kept my mom and I in your thoughts and prayers. I really believe that the good energy sent our way from the many people on both this and other sites has seen us through.
I also want to take the time to thank my best friend in real life Sherlock Hooves for saving my butt in the month of September. If it wasn't for him and his generosity, my mom would have been on the street in September. So please follow him and support all of the great things he does both on this site and others.

I would also like to take the time to thank RC2101_Copey for sending me a donation through my tip jar. Their donation helped us have some extra money to pay for our phone bill. Thank you again for everyone who is continuing to keep my mom and I in your prayers. We definitely need them to get through the months of November and December until my mom's workman's comp payments will go through again.
