Birthday + TGOM 2nd Anniversary · 7:01am Oct 2nd, 2016

As of September 25 of this year, I am now 26 years old. SOB. Am I supposed to feel old at this age?! ;;

Also, as of today (October 1) it has been exactly two years since TGOM was first published. That also marks the second year that I've been writing on this site.

I had two milestones I wanted to reach by this date. The first was to finish Arc 2. The second was to break a thousand upvotes on my story. I accomplished neither goal, and admittedly, I can't help but be really disappointed in myself. So many people have been waiting so long for me to resolve this arc, and no matter how many reasons I come up with to excuse it (I want a slow build, life has been getting in the way, etc.) it honestly feels like I've been letting everyone down. I'm sorry for that.

On the other hand, I've finally got my first romance story in the oven, and (despite the litany of issues in its current state), it's one I'm incredibly proud of, and one I'm hoping I'll get to show to everyone very soon.

To say nothing of the fact that I've been blessed to meet and get to know so many amazing talented people who have inspired me so much over the last two years—Short Skirts, Doccular42, Nonagon, Carabas, Monochromatic, Harmony Pie, the list goes on—and all the people who've joined my Discord server and made it such a fun place to hang out and get my mind off the day.

Collectively, these have easily been the two hardest years of my life. And without this site, and all of the amazing people here, I honestly don't know where I'd be.

So thank you. I may not be completely happy with where I am now, but I still hope I can continue to grow as a writer and make you all proud.
