Why I Don't Write Here Anymore

I suppose it's been on my mind for a long time, but it never really occurred to me until recently. And because a few of you have been waiting for some projects I promised I'd finished, you deserve to know, as well.

    This exists . . .

This is a thing that exists. This was made with effort, and money.

And Hasbro actually put their name on this.

    . . .

    . . .

    . . .

I'm gonna step away from this one.

My good friend needs some support

You all probably know HudsonHawk, especially if you know me. Even though I've never met the man in person, he's my best friend on this site, on the internet, and probably ever.

    Embarking on a new venture

Recently I discovered a site for content creators called Daisie. It allows people to post their work and ask for collaborators, and it was created by actress Maisie Williams, whom many of you might know as Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.

Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword

Better than I thought it would be. It was funny, and it took an old trope (the "Rashomon effect") and put a new twist on it. I can't help but think Pinkie, AJ and Rarity were a tad out of character and a bit spiteful to one another (Rarity thinks AJ is a brute, Pinkie thinks Rarity is a prude, and AJ thinks Pinkie is an idiot? Really? :ajbemused:), but unlike another certain episode that featured three OOC ponies at once, I can let this slide.

Unlike "The Cart Before the Ponies", the petty motivations for which have to be held onto for years, in this episode, they were all angry. And when people are angry, they say things they don't mean. Especially if your best-laid plans end up failing unexpectedly. I can forgive them for that.

Spike slowly getting angrier and exploding was kinda funny. The wordplay was good, and the moral was so complex, I had trouble getting it the first time. But upon reflection, it made sense. Each of them tried to make things work the way they wanted, without realizing the others were as well, and each thought the others doing so was just them messing things up. Again, thank anger for that.

Overall, not bad.

Still working on "Viva Las Pegasus" review. STILL working on "Buckball Season" review (with a new twist). Review to come . . . whenever. :ajsleepy:

Stay quick, stay sharp, and thanks for reading.

4235722 Like I said, my attitude towards Pinkie Pie has changed. Believe it or not, she used to be my least favorite. But she's definitely grown on me.

As of now, my list of Mane Six favorites probably goes like such:

1: Fluttershy
2: Rarity
3: Pinkie Pie
4: Twilight
5: Applejack
. . .
. . .
. . .
etc. . . .
etc. . . .
etc. . . .

1,000, 000: Rainbow Dash

A touch of an exaggeration, but not entirely inaccurate.

Phil's from San Francisco, in Northern California. It is a hilly city on the tip of a peninsula surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. It's known for its year round fog, iconic Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars and colorful victorian houses. Jack is from the Philippines, which is a Southeast Asian country in the Western Pacific comprising more than 7,000 islands. It's capital, Manila, is famous for its waterfront promenade and centuries old Chinatown. A walled city in colonial times is the heart of old Manila.

I found it very funny. One reason that I believed it to be as great as it was, they followed the formula that almost made it seem like a poorly written fan fiction. All three of them had their points of view, that put the other two out of character.
