I tried to make this a sequel to Decapitating Harmony, but I really wanted the Mane 6 cast to be the investigators, and Twilight being dead was an issue (duh). I'm doing a lot of research and adapting a medley of real-life cases. It was originally going to be about Button Mash's kidnapping and Elaina Mash's attempted murder, but I couldn't figure out how to make it work, so I abandoned the idea. I was trying to spin Coco Pommel as Button's Aunt, but it didn't feel feasible; therefore, I couldn't come up with a canon motive. But, I think I've figured out something involving Rarity, and what I'd like to do is start with an accident and snowball an enormous string of murders in an attempt to cover it up with Rarity as the lead investigator and the gang as support.
Anyway, I am working on a new album with my pony metal project, Stallionslaughter. Writing is a back-burner project so it will come slowly. Hopefully, I will have a solid first chapter in not too long, but right now I'm still nailing down the specifics of the crime in order to write the story around it. And now, back to research.

And Ican't wait to read that if you ever get around to wroting it~ I love your investigation/horror/thriller fics. Decapitating Harmony was entertaining and ai'm the sure the new one will be too!
