AARGH! Writers Block! · 1:42pm Sep 27th, 2016
As the title says, I'm strugling with a bit of writers block at the moment. 
I started work on the next chapters some time ago, but for a couple of days now the ideas just refuse to come out, and it's driving me up the freakin wall. 
Now this might be a bit of a stupid question, but does anyone have any tips or ideas that might help get rid of it? Because at this point I'm open to pretty much any suggestion. 
Well since you're set this in season 2 timeline, I'd suggest watching some relevant episodes with a mind towards how the evergreen invasion and your characters presence would drive them in different directions. There are at least a couple episodes where plant powers could have an impact not to mention your character has foreknowledge and is somewhat distrusted by most ponyville residents. Hope this helps.
Maybe have some sci group try to study him or a plot involving zocora and her origins.
Maybe have some ponyvillians at first afraid of him due to him being a 'monster', but have Trixie actually stick up for him despite their opinions of her, even stating that he's more honest and genuine than she ever was or something and they shouldn't treat him like that. Or something. With mentioning of him saving a young filly and some other ponies from a swarm of star spiders that starts to break through at least the mane six to start with.
Though, this is just a thought.
Two words. Lyra Heartstrings. She finds out from pinkie sonehow that aron was once a human. Let the caos ensue!!!!!!
Aside from that, u can have pinkie throwing him a welcome to Ponyville party and have aron trying to eatn some leeway with the townsfolk.
Edit: P.S.- This isn't a joke video, it actually has some pretty good points.
You could always shitpost a few one-shots and crackfics to get the bullshit out of your head. That usually helps.

I generally work on something else when I get hit in the face with the Block. If that doesn't help, sometimes taking a break is necessary. The danger of that is the longer the break, the less likely you are to come back to it...

I met two professional writers earlier this year. They claimed that writers block was just a myth. According to them the easiest way of dealing with it is to write. Anything that comes to mind, even if its just gibberish, without taking the pen off the paper until your head is clear again.
I've read that the more developed your story's world is, the easier it is to write for it.
Maybe take some time developing and creating new ideas for your world.
If I remember correctly we've seen Zebra Shaman Spirit magic, a little bit of what's really going on with the Timber Wolves, a Nightmare Cult being manipulated by what we think are Changelings, a very cool philosophical look at Discord's nature, and ecological fallout from Aeron's rampage.
What else is happening in this world? Not just directly related to Aeron but beyond him.
What events are happening and how does day to day life work in this world? Once you know that, writing how Aeron interacts with it should be easier.
