In honor of 300 followers, I present to you one of my Brainstorming Tidbits that make writing Discovering Friendship possible.
"Alright...here goes nothing" Scootaloo gulped. She glanced at her friends, both of them giving her a nod. On a silent count of three they rolled out from under the table, Scootaloo standing in the middle, Applebloom to her left and Sweetie Belle to her right.
The three held hands, filling themselves with as much Mana as they each dared, the air thick with their growing magic. The guards had only seconds to react as the three girls roared with the force of their magical might. Scootaloo fought back the pain of the magic flooding her system from her friends.
Is this what Rainbow meant about the pain? Is this the crap she dealt with? Scootaloo wondered as tears stained her cheeks.
She couldn't afford to let the pain win. Her friends were counting on her. So it was, Chaos and Magic combined in one that Scootaloo acted. With all that she had she flung the gathered energy at the pouncing guards, smoke rising from her body as the mana around them faded.
"Scoots! A-Are you okay?" Sweetie Belle panicked. Scootaloo flashed her a weak grin.
"T-Totally cool Belle. You two should move though...they are gonna find me pretty quick ya know? Magic leaves a signature or some crap like that. At least that's what Twilight was going on about." Scootaloo chuckled.
"Ya'll knew that this whole time...Well we ain't leavin ya behind!" Applebloom argued, lifting the Skyborn onto her back.
"H-Huh?! Are you nuts?! This is your chance to get to Nyx!" Scootaloo yelled.
"Chaos ain't like yer fancy magic Scoots. It's really alive on its own. Don't ya dare ask me t' leave ya while yer hurtin'." Applebloom growled as she peeked around the corner past the knocked out guards.
"H-Hurting?" Sweetie Belle whimpered.
"I'm fine! I just need a sec is all." Scootaloo argued.
"Ah felt all o' it Scoots. Ah mean, ah didn't REALLY feel it but ah felt you feel it. Ah can't explain...its like ah could see in yer head. Ah couldn't hear thoughts or nothin', but ah could tell...Ya'll thought you were gonna die a hero." Applebloom said softly, slipping around the corner. Sweetie Belle kept close, glaring at Scootaloo.
"Alright, ya got me. I figured if I could use myself as bait then you two could get Nyx and get out of here. I was out of ideas, sue me." Scootaloo grumbled, trying to ignore the fuming Magian beside her. She was going to get a talking to later...
"Hold on t' yer lunch. Ah ain't done this with passengers yet." Applebloom warned. Sweetie Belle grabbed Applebloom's arm, the Gaian lifting her free hand as she looked at a large door.
"Please work,please work,please work, please work." she whispered under her breath again and again, clenching her eyes shut tight as she snapped her fingers.
And to further thank you guys. Here's something that could be in the far flung future for Blazing Blades Online(BBO)
Spike let his thoughts drift as he stared at the ceiling, Scootaloo curled up against him and snoring softly. It had taken Twilight an entire week to get used to the idea of them being together, and several days beyond that to not force them into separate beds. Rainbow's insistence had helped.
"Go to sleep." Scootaloo mumbled into his chest. He chuckled, hooking his arm around her and squeezing gently.
"Can't, thinking," he mumbled back. Scootaloo sighed as she sat up, looking down at him and frowning slightly.
"About?" She asked, cupping his cheek.
"Everything. Us, Belle, Luna, how Button is holdin' up, Twilight freakin' out about us, Rainbow wanting grandfoals, YOU wanting foals." Spike chuckled. Scootaloo rolled her eyes and nuzzled under his chin.
"You think too much." she yawned, clinging to him as she began to doze off. He simply shrugged and closed his eyes, allowing himself a small smile as Scootaloo began to snore again.
KEEP IN MIND - ALL OF THIS IS JUST RANDOM BRAINSTORMING. IT IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE THAT NONE OF THIS/SOME OF THIS/ALL OF THIS COULD HAPPEN. IT IS ONLY A PART OF THE BRAINSTORMING PROCESS FOR IDEAS TO FURTHER THE STORY.
