Can we talk about this gif for a second?
The way Sunset teases Twilight and then they blush, but Sunset turns away and frowns? Its like she's happy that Twilight found someone but she realizes that that somone wasn't her. You could see the hurt and disappointment in her face. In fact the entire movie she was looking at Timber like he had two heads unless she was teasing Twilight about it. I think she didn't want Twilight to feel it was wrong to like him. But damn if you don't Sunset has a crush on sci-Twi you're blind. This moment hurt me so much. Don't worry Sunny! You'll always get her in fanfiction!

I'm not a hundred percent sure but again it's up to everyone to think about but yeah it does feel a little sad that Sunset is happy for Twilight but is upset that either she can't have Sci-Twi for herself or because one of her closest friends has found a date and she's still just...alone.
Imagine if a petition to make SunLight canon comes to pass.

In my eyes, the scene she had with Flash, where she tells him that he should get over the Equestria-Twilight because she wasn't going to be much around anymore was pretty much her saying "stay away from my girl, bitch !"
To me, the true OTP is still Sunset x Twilight, not Sunset x sci-Twi, sorry...

SunLight is probably my favorite ship in this fandom, but this...just...
She flat out says what's bothering her. The following scene provides an answer to the question that was bothering her. A large portion of the film's plot revolves around the issue that's bothering her. Really, the thing that's bothering her is pretty much the only reason why everything that happened in the story was able to happen.
It makes about much sense as saying this...

...is irrefutable evidence that Twilight just had sex with Starlight and is giving her friends a play-by-play description. Sure, I suppose that could be the case if we intentionally ignore everything that happened before, during, and after that single out-of-context image, but as soon as you stop ignoring the context that interpretation completely falls apart.
You're not blind if you don't think Sunset has a crush on Twilight after this. You just watched the movie without willfully ignoring everything being stated and shown on screen that contradicts that interpretation.

Hmm, I'm 90-99% sure they won't have a lesbian relationship, this isn't Steven Universe. That said, there's no reason they can't be BESTFRIENDS like Lyra and her BESTFRIEND Bonbon who have been BESTFRIENDS for years and tell each other everything, and I think they live together? (Lyra mentions that she ate her BESTRFRIEND Bobon's oats)
