Okay, Fillies and Gentlecolts ... the following real life story involves three persons. I could insert a joke like 'Me, myself and I' here, but that would be lame.
Now to the story. I had the great luck of making some friends over the last months. One of them I got to know over this site, the other one because of gaming together in the same community. As fate wants it, one person just moved to England to finish its studies there. The other one stayed there for a week, as vacation. So they where both in the same country at the same time. And to let the coincidences continue, they ended up in the same town.
I wrote with the studying person over skype the other day and told me that it feels a bit down, because the town and the culture is so different, than in its homecountry. I thought of how I can help the person, but couldn't find a way ... until my friend from the gamingcommunity sended me some pictures over WhatsApp, before I went to bed. It was right there and then, I made a plan to get both of them to meet and talk to eachother, because it might help both of them. And so exactly that happend two days later, with now three happy persons. :) Myself, because I helped both of them with their problems, that they had at this time. The persons, because they have now eachother as a new friend.
Learned Friendship-Lesson: Sometimes a new friend is all you need to make you happy. And if fate deal the cards right, it sometimes only needs a small push to get the stones rolling. (No pun intended there :P)
