On the Study and Application of Advanced Carnal Magic

Strange how the similar section on fimfiction and the stories within already know what I am publishing, given their recommendations.

I will have a new story up tomorrow! One of three planned for the immediate future. I'll likely have to post it while I am at work, as I am mentally enslaved to post stories at a very specific time in the day. I've titled this blog post--

    They Always Come Back...

    This is... a little awkward.

For the sake of being concise, I am going to try and keep this blog short short, which is not something I am very good at doing. I don’t talk at all in real life, and on the internet I talk far too much.

    untitled

I have no idea what I’m doing right now.

The cavalcade of thoughts I’ve gone through in the last hour were as varied as the types of sand. Pipe wrenches, garbage, books, family, screaming, job searching, Dunbar’s number, grilling, cats, soul-crushing apathy and anxiety, debts, arguments, swearing. A lot of things in a short amount of time.

Journeyman's Monster Madness Marathon [CLOSED] · 5:55am Sep 22nd, 2016

A little something Audrarius made for me. I can't link or show the two NSFW pictures of the set due to site rules, but it warms my heart to hear someone made art based on my stuff.

He's overdue for a full story. I was in fact going to post this blog entry to highlight that one upcoming clop and one alone, but I got thinking. Next month is October. It's the month of scares and frights. Now I love horror. Anyone who's looked through my archived stories knows that. I also happen to be quite good at clop stories when I put my mind to it.

I thought I'd merge the two.

The Journal has been a depository for half thought out stories and dropped ideas, along with drabbles to keep myself writing. After writing the obligatory story about Applejack as a lycan and Fluttershy as a vampire, I started thinking. What monsters would the other characters be?

I've always been fond of Western movie monsters. The slasher genre. The Golden Age with Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, and Bela Lugosi. Harryhausen. The Atomic Age of monsters. Japanese kaiju. There's just so much cool stuff.

So what if each character was a monster, which one could they be? From what movie would each partake? I could have had a series, but that seemed limiting. An anthology. That would accommodate my needs. I could write any Monsterverse story I want. Did I write a character as one before? No problem! It's an anthology.

Monster girls, each inspired by western movie monsters.

Five stories, five monsters. I'm not going for simple spine-tingling horror, but hopefully a little tow-curling debauchery.

I've set up five dates.
October 3rd
October 10th
October 17th
October 24th
October 31st

I've already selected my five characters. These are the applicable stories for you to read.

Now listen closely.

You may very well guess the monsters, but it will take more than that to claim victory in this little contest of mine. I will be monitoring the comments and PMs of my audience.
1) The first person to correctly guess which movie each and every story is based on, along with their proof, will be able to freely commission a Monsterverse story from me. You must explicitly state which movie along with it's release date, and your logic about why you think it is that movie. Hyperlinks to wiki pages are acceptable for clarification purposes, but you must still include movie name, date, and your proof.
2) I will not be saying which guesses are correct and which are not. That's the risk of losing. Do your research and make your guesses with utter assurity.
3) Be very careful with editing your comments if you make a mistake and correct it; I do not guarantee I will catch it, but I will do my best to do so.
4) Proof of your claims for a movie must be along the lines of the following: thematic similarities, comparable dialog to a certain movie, similar character motivations, character tics, vocal cadence, and other such clues.
5) I do not require you to write a detailed essay or even a page to prove your guess, but you must be specific enough to convince me you are not guessing randomly.
6) Random guessing is an automatic fail. Even if you are right, you get nothing. This also holds true for guesses with no proof, or movie titles that are not specific enough or don't include dates. (i.e. "Frankenstein" if correct guess is "I, Frankenstein", "The Wolf Man" if correct guess is "The Wolfman")
7) I will put in false clues. For instance, if a character suddenly appears will claw hands and says "GOT YOUR NOSE!" that doesn't mean the character is portraying Freddy in Freddy vs. Jason. See the forest for the trees.

These are the rules for the commission.
0) I DECIDE THE WINNER. I will announce it myself with a blog post and PM the winner.
1) The character you choose must be one from the show and not fanmade or an OC.
2) You don't have to select a specific movie for me to make your choice into a monster. A broad type like 'Wolves' or 'Vampires' will do, but the end product will be my choice.
3) I will be keeping it as a Western movie monster. I'm not going to be choosing monsters like a Kappa or Godzilla.
3) However, I will have rule three as a stretch rule. If you can make a compelling enough case for your character to be something other than a Western movie monster, I will void rule three. You must be able to make a strong enough case for your character to be a specific monster.
4) Should the winner not give me their selections in one weeks time of the final story (Dawn of November 7th, 2016 CTRL), their prize is void. November is going to be very busy for me and I will need those details sooner rather than later. I have matters other than those online to attend to, so if I grant you victory, do not tarry.
5) Should no one correctly guess all five stories by the end date, no one wins.

Good luck, readers.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Hmm I know I've seen an interactive animated version of that image somewhere.

Was kinda hot.

That aside very well drawn and the monster stories sound intreaging. Are you aiming more for old classics, more modern monsters, or a mix?

That I can't say without giving some people an unfair advantage. It's up to my readers to find out if the true source of the five's plot comes from a newbie or an oldie but goldie. All I will say is that they will have their roots firmly in Western movie monsters with a particular emphasis on horror roots.

And for those that didn't pick up the hints, yes, all five stories will be clopfics.

This October prepare to visit Journeyman's sexnasium and spookyitorium at the same time. :ajsmug:
