Just another line to let you all know I'm still alive. I guess this is an official announcement that I'm taking a break from ponies for a bit. My muse has gotten a new idea for a project in her head and insists on seeing it through. If you're interested, you can find it over here. It's a Daria story, and I think it's going pretty well so far. Don't worry about the slow start, the yuri will come, I just don't want to scare the straights over at fanfiction.net.
I really need to get her to settle down to one project again. I've got two or three open stories here, another one or two at fancition.net, a book I'm trying to write so it can maybe be published, and not enough creativity to support all these balls I'm juggling. Sorry this has delayed more pony words, but maybe when things get really going with this Daria story, I'll pick up TSG or AO again. It doesn't help me any that Private Gig finally updated. I can already feel my muse getting ideas...

Well, like I said, I prefer AO3 -- Archive of Our Own -- which is still not as good as FiMfiction, but it's more attractive and easier to read than Fanfiction.net. I will admit that it has its problems, the biggest one being it's not as popular as FFN, so a story might not get as much attention, depending on where the center of a particular fandom tends to gather. (I came out of a very small fandom, Baby-Sitters Club, and the twenty or so of us who were active used a livejournal group and AO3.)
AO3 has been "in beta" and invite/waiting list only for accounts for about... 10 years or so? But I believe I have some invites if you're interested in making an account and messing with it. Just PM me an email where I can send one. (And I think the waiting list moves pretty quickly, even without an invite.)
But really, I'm not making demands or anything. Don't go to the trouble unless you're unsatisfied with FFN.
Ah, muses. I understand they tend be remarkably stubborn about NOT sticking to any one project.
