"Batmare Begins" Returns This Sunday · 8:14pm Sep 19th, 2016
Good afternoon everypony! Well, well, well, it has been awhile since I last updated, hasn't it? First of all, I want to thank all of my followers and longtime readers of Batmare Begins for being so patient with me in the interlude since my last update. That out of the way, I am happy to announce that this Sunday, Batmare Begins shall be updating yet again, and boy oh boy do I have a BIG update in store for all of you! In the next two weeks, for the next two Sundays, next two Mondays, and next Tuesday, five chapters will be uploaded totaling over 40,000 words, currently about a third of how long the fic as it is currently is. There's plenty of expansion on characters already introduced as well as plenty of new characters entering the picture, all of which I think new and old readers will very much enjoy. I figure such an update should make the wait totally worth it, and can't wait to share these chapters that I've been working very hard on with all of you! Until this Sunday, this is Batbrony signing off (and thank you once again for being so patient, you guys are the best). I'm off!!! *cue dramatic exit*
Can't wait! Hopefully now we'll see Derpy do what we've all been waiting to see her do ;)

To a... certain extent, a little, yes. But one of the reasons this update took so long is because I was getting A LOT of the slow stuff out of the way in one go, that is, slow stuff in Ponyville itself. So there's a lot of build-up here, BUT I promise you that by the end of this update, the light will be at the end of the tunnel.
