Full commission this time, and will be featured in Part 6 which is releasing VERY soon, within a couple of days. Those that follow me get a sneak peek:
Recall that Stella has her armor set which is more ceremonial, but her regular soldiering uniform is worn for drilling purposes and actual combat if it came to that.
Well...
Those of you who are proficient in firearms use will note the finger placement in the trigger well, which is , of course, not proper in the slightest, especially for someone of her caliber. It was not supposed to initially be like this, but when this was presented I got a mildly kek-worthy idea, so we decided to leave it as is. Ergo, the title of this piece is "Stella racking trigger disciprine."
But yeah, done by my good friend Ravvij. Y'all should go check out his DA for more of his cool works n' shit
well if she has the safety on ( and i hope she does) then its all cool, and am i right in assuming that the rifle is based of the Lee enfield design? I cant tell which one as there are so many different version, but i know that bolt actions extended visible magazine and front muzzle sights clearly.
4216375 Excellent eye. It is indeed the Enfield design
4216375 Beat me to it fucker.
This also has less anal then you led me to believe Flammen.
too me it looks like the No.4 MK I* although im guessing the buttstock design here is the artists imagination, I've held/demo'd and restored one at the British York army museum, it was made in US for the lend lease agreement and I'll tell you, just holding it feels powerful, taking it apart however was a tricky little shit, especially removing the butt-stock from the action, thats what happens when its stored improperly for 60 odd years
What is the circuitry looking bit on the buttstock supposed to be? Some kind of magictech recoil system/bullet enchanter?
Maybe it is the angle but holy crap she got some birthin hips!
Damn, that's fucking neato.
For some reason the lack of trigger dicipline here disturbes me more than it ought to.
4216425 I know, which is gonna turn into a joke in the story. As I said, wasn't meant to be like that but I figured I could work with it in a funny way
4216377
And by the looks of it, it looks like a modified Lee Enfield NO.4 Mk.1, Lee Enfield NO.4 Mk.1/2, Lee Enfield NO.4 Mk.1*, or Lee Enfield NO.4 Mk.1/2*.
4216425
your not alone on that, i took a firearms course and was taught to never have your trigger finger near the trigger, or in the trigger guard when your not about to shoot it. That and i was in the cadets, so if we did that our officers would pull us off the range, and talk to us what we did wrong.
Glorious.
Her enemies don't stand a chance.
(Once she learns trigger discipline XD
but...I guess her vocabulary is venom enough)
I'm surprised the rifle was based off the Enfield's design rather than the Karabiners or even the Gewehrs, you know, to fit in with the whole German look Stella's got going for her.
Still a damn nice drawing though. Couldn't do digital artwork if my life depended on it.
4216547 Ahhh but you see? People would EXPECT the Karabiner/Gewehr design... gotta keep y'all on your toes somehow
4216576 Maybe because it is
4216609 Welp, you got me there Flammen.
(Still would take a Karabiner over an Enfield though. )
4216613 I'd take a full Gewehr 98 over both of 'em.
Can't beat that ten round mag though
4216614 Here Here! *Raises mug*
4216471 Last Enfield .303 I fired was so old the barrel was that worn it dragged the round way below sub sonic speed that you could visually see it spiraling out from the gun towards target. At about 40 metres out it was a foot in any direction. Tried hitting the last rabbit of the last night of a spotlighting long weekend, only cause we were out of .22 ammo, could see it hit dirt 6" to left of bunny but he didn't run. Went picked him up, not a scratch, thought shock killed him. threw him in back of vehicle start heading back to farmhouse, stuff me if he didn't start hopping round the vehicle, was only stunned.
4216384 Precisely that!
4216627
wow, really just stunned, and i'm guessing he didn't come to ether.
Badass!
4216780 He didn't seem too tased by it!
Very cool.
upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0b/Lee-Enfield_No_4_Mk_I_(1943)_-_AM.032027.jpg The rifle reminds me a lot of the Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk. 1.
4216384 I was wondering about the stock too, but to me it seems more ornamental, than practical.
4218726 yeah, it's a bit hard to see, but it's supposed to be like a magic generator for enhancing bullets and stuff.
4221649 At least that makes some sense. Useful!
4221728 if you look really closely, you can see the blue lightning shaped gem in there.
4221886 Yeah, well...even if you'd hold a gun against my head I wouldn't say that "gem" was lighning shaped, but I can accept it.
