Day 17: What I Won't Write

Continuing off from yesterday, here are the things I will not write and the reasons why. If there are any questions, ask in the comments section.

Clop: You heard me. Me, the one who has a few clop fics in his favorites. But those have a story involved, especially with the story, “A New Beginning.” Why don’t I write one? Is it too hard? Too easy, perhaps? There is a fine line between story and going straight to the subject matter. But if I did write one that gets “the heat,” and even becomes featured, there’s the problem. Not that I would be ungrateful, but it just feels insulting that I have spent quite a few months writing these stories that have yet, and probably never will, be popular or featured. If I were to write a sex scene, it would be as passionate sex.

Same Sex Shipping: It’s largely the same reason as Clop. Don’t get me wrong. I do respect same-sex marriages, but I feel uncomfortable writing such a story.

Songs: I'm already starting to improve on writing, is it that obvious that I'm not ready to write songs.

Stuff I Don’t Know: This is a big deal for me. Compared to many, I seem to be very “slow” when it comes to new things. I don’t play Fallout, Assassins Creed, or any recent shooter or role playing games. Hell, I don’t even have a Nintendo Wii U, and they are going the way of the dinosaur right now. My point is that anything you propose to that is unknown to me, I cannot write it, or worse co-write it out of fear that it might just ruin your story and I’ll be the one responsible.
