As I'm waiting for my fanfic to go through, I headed to Equestria Daily and I read an article confirming a few things from Kora Kosicka, who just happens to be the lead character designer for MLP:FIM. To be brief, she has said that the rainbow maned male Pegasus from a few episodes back was in fact NOT Rainbow Dash's dad, she would like to see more zebras and a Royal Sisters episode and finally, a confirmation that Applejack's parents are dead. That last bit did made me sad, but it was something a lot of us fans, myself included, had suspected for sometime. I'm sure will get an explanation some day, if not this season, then the next.

4209131 Considering that three of the Mane Six has an older brother (Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy), it seems very likely. I don't know. We need a lot of things confirmed on this show. There's a long list.
