Fan Art for "The Iron Horse" - Cool Blueprint-Style Sketch by Spiral-Bound! · 1:16am Sep 13th, 2016

Just like the title says, a few days ago I received a piece of fanart by reader Spiral-bound! He sent me a very cool picture of Turing Test done in a more technical, so-called "blueprint" style. Check below the break to see it for yourself!

Even though it's just a sketch, I really like the little details. Greenfinger, my illustrator, really likes it too, and he's always thrilled to see what others do with his design. In Spiral's own words to me:

I'm a big fan of The Iron Horse, and for a while now I've wanted to try my hand at drawing my own rendition of your character Turing Test -- partly to show my appreciation for what you do, and partially because I just enjoy drawing stuff I like, especially mechanical stuff. :twilightsheepish:
This afternoon, I finally got myself around to starting on it. It's not finished by a long shot (I want to refine the design a bit more, as well as take a stab at the other modes), but I thought you'd might like to see what I've got so far anyway.

As for the lines, they're simply part of me visualizing final piece. One idea I had is for the final image to look like a blueprint of sorts, with little descriptions pointing at various parts on Turing's structure. Might be pretty cool.
As soon as I've made sufficient progress, I'll be sure to send you more pictures! I'm excited to see how what I've planned turns out.

So, there you have it! If/when Spiral does more work, you'll see it showcased here. :raritywink: In any case, thanks a lot for the cool art, pal!

I hope you liked it! While I'm here, the next chapter will be in about a week, if all goes according to schedule. See you then!
