    Update

Hey, I'm back. Still have some resting to do. But I figured while I'm stuck in bed to just give an update.

I'm working on a rewrite for Finding my Muse and I have the next chapters of No mere human, I just need an editor/reviewer to look through No mere human before I upload it.

    I've disappeared and here's why

I'm like sIck. Like super seriously sick. Without boring ya with the deets, I have adisturbingly persistent pneumonia and let's just be honest, my docs not Liking it one bit. if I take some fancy pills I could end up fine. Issue is it's a long road until I'm "healthy" , .

Point is it's a long road and I've been spending less and less time in the interwebs writing due to some shakes I got.

So i didnt mean to do this, but i gave my own story a thumbs up, and i really didn't want to, but i click the thume again and it wont go away, how to i fix that? Should i just press the thumbs down to amend it?

You should just leave it. There's no way to remove an upvote (thumbs up) or downvote (thumbs down) to my knowledge. Plus, the vote is only visible to other users after 10 total votes have been cast, so it won't really matter whether or not you upvoted your own work.

For me, I upvote any work I post. After all, I wrote it, and I liked it enough to post. A lot of users do that, I am told.

thanks man, i figured it would be taboo.

*nervously glances left and right repeatedly while sweating profusely* Oh yeah, upvoting you're own story is just about the most arrogant and narcissistic thing you can do on this site. I've totally never ever done that before in my life, heh heh.:twilightblush:
In all seriousness though, it's perfectly normal to do that kind of thing. Just about every author here does it. After all, like Jarvey said, it's your story, and you have every right to slap a thumbs up on something that you put any amount of time and effort into.
Anyways that's all from me. I wish you happy writing.
