Once upon a time, the magical land of Equestria was ruled by a wise and friendly ruler Princess Twilight Sparkle and was assisted by her best friend, a dragon named Spykorugan. The ponies of Equestria loved their princess but were wary of the dragon. One day, Spykorugan felt rage building up inside his heart and started repelling the princess' visitors in anger, causing them to fear moving close to the palace. Princess Twilight tried to reason with her old friend, but his dragon anger grew too deep inside his heart and wanted nothing more than to destroy the ponies. With great sadness, the princess reluctantly used the Elements of Harmony on Spykorugan and banished him in the deepest caverns under the Everfree Valley, putting him in a deep slumber. But the peace will not last forever, for in the thousandth year on the day when neither day nor night is longer, the enraged dragon will awaken from his slumber and unleash his vengeance once more.

4202801 I also thought of them being adopted by Twilight instead of being her students. Originally, I thought of Celestia studying botany and staying in Ponyville because of it being close to the Everfree Forest.

An orphan Earth Pony from Chapaillinea who was adopted along with her twin sister Luna by none other than Princess Twilight of Equestria. Her hobbies are tending her plants in the private section of the Royal Palace Gardens, reading books about plants and studying local flora and fauna. Celestia loves her adoptive mother very much and will do everything to make her happy and she loves her twin as much. She is very giving and puts others before herself, values that granted her the Element of Generosity on her quest along with her sister and new friends to stop the ancient beast Spykorugan. Her occupation is a botany student and her special talent is gardening. Her biggest flaws are fear of large beasts and dragons, making her facing Spykorugan challenging and going to extreme measures to not make Princess Twilight disappointed which usually cause major consequences.
