To Where and Back Again
Part 1: Without the help of Twilight Sparkle and the Mane Six, Starlight Glimmer assembles an unlikely team of heroes to defend Equestria from the return of one of its greatest threats.
Part 2: Starlight Glimmer leads an unlikely squad of rescuers against one of the ponies' oldest and greatest foes in order to save her friends and Equestria.
Does that mean we get to an Equestrian suicide squad? With what's been seen over the past year, we can assume some of the members will include the season's new friends and allies (Trixie, Sunburst, Thorax, Ember) or characters from Guardians of Harmony (Cheese Sandwich, Spike, Shining Armor, etc).
Personally, I would love to see Lightning Dust become a member. First, she's overdue for a comeback. Second, the CCG cards have been known to spoil a future episode more than once. Third, the EG Vocal Foreshadow Effect*: Maryke Hendriske voiced Gilda way back in S1, returned as Sonata in Rainbow Rocks, then reprised her role as Gilda the following season, S5. Britt Irvin voiced Dusty in S3, then returned as Sunny Flare in Friendship Games, so going by that pattern she's bound to return sometime soon; if not in Every Little Thing She Does or Top Bolt, then certainly the season finale.
