There's been a fun meme going around DeviantArt where you post eight facts about your OC. So I thought I would share the eight facts about Lyric that I've posted there! Some may already be known, and some may not. Either way, I hope you enjoy them!
1. Lyric's family consists of herself, her mother Melody, her father Tempo, and her older sister Harmony. Melody is an instrumentalist (one who crafts instruments), her father is a bassoonist in the Royal Canterlot Orchestra, and Harmony is a singer.
2. Lyric seems to make friends wherever she goes, and she is loyal to them to a fault. While this is a good thing, it can also be a bad thing for her. If she knows a friend is in distress, it can weigh on her if she feels that she is unable to help them.
3. Lyric's idol growing up was Princess Celestia, and she still sees her as such. She also sees Princess Luna as an idol now that she has returned, because she sees Luna's fall and redemption.
4. Lyric also went through her own fall, which led to her once stealing a supposedly magical lute. She returned it shortly after, and a young colt was able to help her see the error of her ways, which led to her own redemption.
5. Besides her parents and sister, Lyric's mentor was an old stallion named Finner. He was able to give her some tips, pointers, and life advice that helped her become the performer she is today.
6. Lyric's closest friends are Misty Moonrise, Cloudy Day, Neo, Jam, Moonlight Blossom, Art, Rayva, and, in a way, Halo. However, she is not fully sure if Halo is actually real or not. (And I've honestly probably forgotten some ponies, so I'm sorry if I have!)
7. Lyric received her cutie mark when, as a filly, she found an old poem, composed a song for it on her lute, and then performed it for her family.
8. Lyric is an atypical OC of mine in that she never marries, never has foals, and I do not mind thinking of her aging.
And two bonus facts!
9. Lyric's theme song is I'm Good by The Mowgli's.
10. Lyric is my OC, not my ponysona.
Ahhh, Lyric just seems to get better and better as a character.
