    Stupid Surprises

You know what the best part about going back and editing old work is? Rediscovering easter eggs!

Like, take ch 3 of "7 Days of Macro Dreams". There's a part where Luna mentions a red wine called: Eniw Der Paeh. When editing it I was like, "what is that?" Plug it into Google translate and it spits out nothing. I was stumped. Even I didn't know where this name came from!

Pro Tips on Request Structuring · 1:25pm Sep 3rd, 2016

I'm not asking for requests, I'm closed right now. Got enough on my plate to work with for now.

However, it surprises me how inefficient the dialogue has been. You think if you're going to make a request you'd put some thought into it. So for all you slackers out there, here is my official "How to Structure Requests Strategy Guide: Blobskin Edition".

Step 1: Greeting. (Tip: Be polite. No one likes being ordered around. Depending on the author this may be a separate message.)

Step 2: Characters? Who’s involved?

Step 3: Pony, Anthro, Human, etc.

Step 4: Fetishes? Which ones are a MUST, which ones are OPTIONAL?

Step 5: Gentle or Cruel? (Tip: Rule specific to macro/micro community)

Step 6: Perspective? Static or dynamic? First, second, or third?

Step 7: Describe the scenario. (Tip: You should try to strike a balance between specific and vague. Writers want to help you, but they also appreciate having some wiggle room.)

Step 8: Negotiate. There is almost always some back and forth or clarification.

Step 9: Wait or leave. (Tip: Arguing with an author always ends in defeat)

Be smart, be efficient.
