KitsuneRisu

Somedays, I sit, looking at the stars. I muse and wonder. I meditate and reflect. And I find the miracle in a new day of life. Especially since I swallowed so much glass the day before.

So Long and Thanks for all the Fish · 12:21pm Sep 3rd, 2016

Whelp! Time's here!

Sorry to say, but I must go.

It's been fun, and it's been a blast. I made a lot of new friends, and overall, it's been a very interesting 4 years, and I still kinda can't believe it's already been that long.

I wish sometimes I'd been able to accomplish more, but as things went on, I just stopped having the time lately to be able to truly invest in things. As much as I hate to leave things unfinished, I'm afraid that's where things may stay.

My last attempt at trying to find the groove of writing was an acid test in how much I could find time and a good mindspace to write, and I genuinely approached it with the mindset of 'it's just another day'. But alas, ponies kinda aren't doing it for me anymore. I gave it my best though, and that's where it'll stay!

I guess eventually we all kinda grow out of our clothes.

I'll always be eternally grateful for the coolest guys I'd meet here. You definitely know who you are.

And to everyone else, Auf Wiedershe whatever. Farewell for now!

And here's the explanation stuff:

I haven't been super active on this site as of last year when a whole bunch of bad stuff happened, and I really haven't ever picked back up since then. So I guess nothing's going to change. I'll still pop in here once every so often, and I'm not completely 100% disappearing. But I just won't be reading, contributing, writing, or doing much of this old stuff anymore that I am planning.

Don't be surprised, however, if one day you see me suddenly publish something out of nowhere. I'm only going to write now when the mood can take my fancy, rather than write to a schedule and plan that I no longer can support. Perhaps one day I'll find my groove again and actually finish some of my stuff. Who knows? But for now, I'm hanging up my hat.

First one here gets dibs.

It's a trilby.

Thanks for the 4 years!

I'm glad you had a good time. Don't be afraid to stop by and plug your creations. Best of luck in whatever you do and wherever you go from here.

Well, hey if you turn into a sofa on the way there, at least tell me how it went!

But for real, have fun.

At least keep in contact on Skype and Discord.

Well, good riddance and many happy returns.

So I guess that new one's not getting finished, huh? :C Best of luck to you, break as many limbs as are necessary.

And thanks for all the stories and stuff yo.

I wish you the best of luck on future endeavors!

Oh sure. You don't find it fun to write anymore. But I bet that won't stop you from writing a million more fucking Batman jokes to send to me, will it?

Don't be a stranger, KR.

Thank you all for the words! Thanks for being readers for this long. I hope, no matter how small in consequence, I was able to provide something - anything - to your day. Here's to the future! I'll probably be moving on with my personal projects, including that novel I've always wanted to get published >_>;;; Maybe in 20 years.

Eh, who knows, like I said? That story was the acid test that I mentioned. I think I just don't want to write with a pressure hanging over my head anymore. I think that's something I never recovered from.

I only need to write one joke. And it's a killer.
Get it? GET IT?

You can always get me on Skype.

Sorry to see you go :fluttercry:
Good luck out there!

Twas nice knowing you, dude. I'm sorry you no longer feel you can keep it up.

Thank you for the stories. Barreled Up still holds a special place in my heart.

Don't be a stranger, now, ya hear? :ajsleepy:

I forget, do I have your contact name?

You'll always be one of my favorite authors here KR. Very nice Douglas Adams btw. Very classy. Besides all the usual farewells and happy wishes for the future, you definitely should write when you want to. For yourself most of all.

I'll always remember the cool times here.
Words reflect feelings after all, and your stories gave me plenty of them.

Oi, PM me your skype-thing so I can add you on there and stuff

I shall miss your creepy-dark pony tales quite a bunch!

A while back, you gave me the opportunity to contribute to Table For Two. Helping with a project of that kind was something I had always wanted to do, and it also gave me the chance to use a story idea that otherwise would not have gone anywhere. Let me say one more time, thank you.

Adios champ. You'll still be ona the greats as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the experiences.

Au revoir, Risu.
Thanks for all the tears, laughs, and existential crisises.

Have a good one, KR. It's always been fun to read your stories and your blog.

Enjoyed your stories! Take care!

I'm so glad to have come by & read your stories. You've made me feel all the better for having written them. Thank you so much and I wish you the best!

We'll look forward to whatever you do end up doing 'round these here parts! Or what you're doing 'round other parts, if you let us know about them.

… that was not an invitation to brag about the status of your genitals.

Even if this is goodbye, thanks for all you've done to brighten things up for us. I will always fondly remember — among many other highlights of our collaborations — murderpone.

My balls are huge though.

Dang, how am I always the last one to find out these things? I should hit you up on Skype, see if we can't do some catching up.

Despite having seen your name everywhere for the past, um, 4 years, I now realize I just started reading my first KitsuneRisu story ("The Incandescent Brilliance") today. I don't know what went wrong. :derpytongue2:
