So, now a major update and attempt to get The Golden Dawn back on track. I've added a prologue to set the stage for those unfamiliar with TCB -- and to spell out some of the details about my spin on TCB. I've added a new chapter.
Also, I've changed the name of the story to The View Over Atlantis. The old name had led to a bit of confusion related to a certain political party in Europe. . . which my story is utterly unrelated to. I haven't written my own Golden Dawn out of the story, but it's no longer featured as the name of the story, so maybe that will help. Also, The View Over Atlantis is more fitting for reasons that will gradually become apparent, and it's an homage to a fascinatingly eccentric real-world book of the same name.
Going forward, I am going to attempt to work on this story and also pick up the Minty story again, and try to alternate chapters between them. I have no idea if I can mentally pull that off. I guess we'll find out!
