Sandbox Is Now In Russian! · 10:25pm Aug 30th, 2016

This is the first time ever that a story of mine is translated into another language. With my permission, another user Hartvein has translated my latest story Sandbox into Russian!

You can find it here if you wanna check it out. :twilightsmile:

And thank you, Hartvien, for considering it.

Not a great shake at Russian. I know a couple words;

Maskirovka; camouflage
Rasputitsa; fall and spring mud, when even the roads turn into nature's cake batter.
Zhuk; Beetle/cockroach (common nickname for Marshal Zhukov)
Ura; hurrah! (Russian battle cry)
Nemptsi; tongue-tied ones (derogatory term referring to Germans)

and some other, less cultured words that I will not discuss here.

I expect to see the German version of one of your stories soon! The Germans would very much find your stories appealing to them!
