I give you, the Empress of the Empire.
She is still in a stage of being a rough outline to a near finished product, I just need to learn/review coloring metals and shading before I can finish her. This is as she sort of resembles in ER250. In the story, I describe Rarity's hair as being pretty much the same as it has always been, and her royal apparel is a mix between the three pronged crowns and chest plates of Equestria, and the steel greaves and cape of the Crytal Empire. Here, she is a little different with a similar mane style to when she get's "crystalized" in the show. Her crown is three pronged, but it wraps around the horn, and the cape is longer on her right side than the left. I'm probably going to modify that before I finish it, I was going for something like Ezio's dueling cape from Assassin's Creed. Oh, and Rarity is wearing an arm band and a single earring. There will be some touch ups before it is completed.
Lately I am developing my own drawing style for ponies, inspired by 8BitAmy's style, which is more on the anime style of art. I've really enjoyed this style so far, but I am still working out the kinks. This image is my style that I am working on compared to the standard mlp pony. I still have a lot of work to do, like the muzzle/snout and back legs, but I'm really confident and hopefuly that I can turn this into something amazing.
