So..... the time has come.
My old 'all in one unit so you can't upgrade it' HP pc, with it's Radeon 2900 (garbage) graphics card and 1.8GHz duel core (garbage) processor, that was originally purchased by my sister for the sole purpose of data entry.... could no longer keep up with literally anything. Darksouls 3? Xcom 2? No Man's Sky? Elite Dangerous? Nononononono. Well, actually, I could load Elite Dangerous, it just ran like crap, but it did run.... which is pretty impressive given that the thing shouldn't have even been able to download it.
In any case... I blew OVER NINE TWO THOUSAAAAND dollars and got a top of the line custom built rig that can do basically anything, or so the theory goes. So, you'll have to excuse my lack of updates while I catch up on the last year and a half of games I bought on steam but could never play. That being said, I AM halfway through writing the next chapter of Falling Feathers, so, that won't be too far off.
In other, more pressing matters, do you like Dungeons and Dragons? I've only played once, 3.5 e, via skype, in 'theater of the mind'. And I've recently been looking at Roll20 and been going 'you know, every group wants to start their session an hour before I go to work, or, they only speak Finnish, which kinda makes it hard to find a group that way.
So, maybe I'll start up a Wednesday group or something?
Thank the heavens!
i dont do any online dnd but 1st, 2nd, or 3.5 are all good choices if your looking for a type, or d20 (dnd for beginners/noobs)
My PC is begging to be cleaned and I dare not boot a game up until I do but it's at the point that I'm really scared of opening it.
I've seen allot of animated play sessions of dungeons and dragons and it seems like a blast but I've never actually tried it myself.
I want to know the specs of the new pc.
