I still think that Discord is his own antagonist. I mean, he really can't help it: The only pony that likes him encourages him to meet new people and then he throws them in another dimension. Remember Tree Hugger? There. Anyways, another fun episode that didn't go voerboard with nerdy references which, once in a while, I appreciate. The part just before the dimensional traveling actually captured the spirit of D&D (Sorry, O&Os...) more faithfully than any big budget adaptions could: Just friends having fun and talking shit. It was a subtle bit of characterization that SPike would bond with Big Mac: Both are the guys that got dragged and sometimes only sideline the crazy adventures the girls have. Big Mac is always a riot. I also enjoyed the other fan nod the writers gave us: The Brave Bard Pinkie Pie and the Dashing Rogue Rainbow Dash! You go and tell me that those weren't the perfect classes for them. Also, they hug which is cute. Overall, not the best Discord episode but still good. Never disappoint me, Mr. De Lancie.
Bard is probably one of the two most common classes for Pinkie when I go looking. The other is oddly monk though it works quite well in its own way.
For Dash rogue is one I have seen though I have also seen warrior types like barb (her tendency to fly off the handle) or maybe fighter.
4175295 Rarity can be a pretty good monk. Remember how much she kicked flank during the changeling invasion? Also, still interested for that game I should start?
Rarity could be a good monk though i tend to see her as more of a rogue. It fits her in many ways (though clearly she does not use her skills for theft so much as getting her way).
I love talking about games and how they work online but I have found I am not into play by post type games (I am also not into MMORPGs too sadly which has made it really hard lately to find a game lately since I moved). The medium sadly drives me crazy over time.
I really appreciate the offer though. If it was in person I would be willing to give it a shot (there is a cool gaming bar down the street from my place which is crazy fun).
What was the game you were going to play again? I did not know it but it could be fun to read up on it and talk shop so to speak.
