IN WHICH I AM TORN
About two things really. First, what anime I should rewatch. I decided last night to take in the first two episodes of Galaxy Railways. As a big fan of Leiji Matsumoto's style and worlds, I like the show. However, it's also a very sad show (the main character's father and brother both die within the first two episodes), and "sad" is probably the LAST thing I need right now, as my life may be about to fly off the rails due to circumstances somewhat out of my control that I feel responsible for anyway. The other option, which I'll probably do tonight is Super Milk-chan. Yes, I know most people who know about this show hate it, which is a shame because it's hilarious… IF you watch the heavily-Americanized gag dub (as opposed to the original Japanese or the highly faithful dub that inexplicably aired on Adult Swim). I could also try and finally finish School Rumble, even though I know the show won't end how I want it to; I only have three episodes left.
On the writing front, well, I've been attempting the last couple days to work on both the latest chapter of Mayor's Break Time and my Dazzlings story tentatively called Little Birdie. I don't like how the MBT chapter is shaping up; I might be able to fix it to the point it's publishable, but I'm not optimistic. Little Birdie is proving a bit more enjoyable to write; its problem is that (1) almost every single line thus far has ended up having a music reference and my musical knowledge is not vast enough to keep that up and, more importantly, (2) I have NO idea where this story wants to go. Eh. C'est la guerre.
