Spike is likely a drake since even in his greed-enhanced, grown state he had no wings.

I have wanted to get a bearded dragon as a pet. I have killed a number of Komodo dragons...in Farcry 3.

I always liked the Wyverns the most, they look so cool to me. I also agree that Spike is probably a drake.

I can be wrong but isn't the Nāga a kind of dragon?

Not really, but also depends on what kind of Naga you're referring to.
Are you talking about the actual Hindu snake deity with five snake heads, or the nagas who are snake-human hybrid people?

I was thinking about the Hindu ones, but I'm still not sure if it is considered a dragon or not.
I also remembered one that has appeared in mlp, the Cockatrice.

Edit: Thinking about it, the Cockatrice could also be a type of Wyvern.

4173103 It could be considered a very different sub-variant of wyverns, but honestly not many would immediately consider a cockatrice to be a wyvern. Wyverns are, by contrast, semi-draconian creatures while not directly related to pure dragons.
Cockatrices are more serpent like with their reptilian aspect.

I've seen more pictures of cockatrices looking more alike a dragon/wyvern than an actually serpent, but I guess like any mythological creature its appearance may change from place to place.

4173934 It's pretty much that. Really though I suppose it's up for interpretation.
