Untypical aims to be what the standard for action audio dramas would be today,

Club Heartbeat - A Lesbian Paranormal Vampire Romance Short Story

So, this is something I have been working on in an on and off manner for the past little while. Club Heartbeat is a non-pony, lesbian paranormal vampire romance, short story that will be roughly 10,000 to 11,000 words in length. The story follows a girl by the name of Samirah Melody and her first time going out in a new town, the story starts with her at the club utterly bored and alone in a new

Why I write and a tiny preview of things to come · 11:55am Aug 25th, 2016

So yesterday I saw a post in the Fallout: Equestria group asking people what their goals were (You can read it here) (And my reply can be seen here). And it got me thinking about my goals and why I write essentially. It also reminded me that I was actually planning a blog post like this for a while now, just never got around to doing so.

So that brings me to the topic of this post: why do I write?

For the most part like I said in my reply I write because I want to entertain, enlighten or simply offer my own view to others. But Primarily it’s to entertain and hopefully make other people smile as a result of that. I love hearing from people that what I wrote brought a smile to them Or just made a shitty day even marginally better for them.

For another part though Writing is my therapy in a way. It helps me clear my mind of the stress I have for most of the day while at work, which is a whole different topic. I am a very creative and passionate person and writing gives me peace of mind and makes me relax in a world where I work a job that is essentially creatively bankrupt.

I work as a web designer, although there is about zero design that I actually do its simply reskinning the same application with different colours and putting it online. Or at times I do things that aren’t even in my contract. Getting to the point it is something that irks me to the point that I have almost quit my job multiple times; even though I can’t until I find something new.

I write to get more experience before I start working on my real first novel(la). I want to improve and learn from my mistakes and the feedback I ca get in a community that isn't as... dare I say toxic in how critique is outed. My experience here on Fimfiction has possibly been the most helpful in my growth as a writer.

To be quite honest I can´t help but feel a little proud looking back at the unpublished version of “Their Most Faithful student.” Compared to the one that I have rewritten now. Or even comparing that to “Luna’s Dream Escapade.” It’s been a long year but I feel that I have actually grown as a writer (Did that sound arrogant?).

Although I have to admit I wouldn’t have gotten as far as I did without the people following and reading my stories and giving helpful feedback, be that in comments or in PM’s. So yes thank all of you for sticking with me and helping me grow it does mean quite a bit to me. You’re all my drive to not give up and to keep going.

Well if you made it this far in this blog post have a little teaser of something I am working on right now. Something that isn't clop (Shock horror I know. Heresy right?). I wanted to try my hand at a Lovecraft inspired horror mystery kind of story, set in the medieval ages of Equestria. This is actually the first story that is going to be using my Aegis setting.

Doest that sound like an interesting read? I sure hope it does I't rather much fun actually writng that piece of work.
