Back in the texan desert

Evening everyone.

I'd like to start off by saying that I am back at school officially as of yesterday, and it is good to see some old friends. Over the past three months, I've just about forgotten the company of others save for a select three or so people that I'd see about once a weekend. It's an interesting process, converting myself from anti-social to social again, whenever that happened to begin with. I'd never really thought about having many friends or a 'social life' to speak of until being invited to do things and having people wanting to see me. I have more relationships and people care about than I realize, and it's nice to be reminded of that every now and again.

In other news, classes start Monday, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. in one hand, it's nice to have a routine again, so I constantly have something to do. On the other hand, I'm working on predominantly majors stuff this time around so I'm having that anxious person inside worry about whether or not I'll get swamped with work I can't finish. But whatever, I'll figure it out eventually.
That said, I'm wondering what my schedule is going to be like after going through a week of it. I'll attempt a job again eventually because I need a nice keyboard and a mouse for myself not that I can't steal my dad's set up, and I'm looking to eventually own a sport bike to get myself around on over the course of the next year. We're two full years from tomorrow until I graduate, and I'd kinda like to mooch off of my parents insurance as long as I can. Call it selfish, but the real world is expensive, and as long as I'm not in it, I'll take what I can get. 2spooky4me.

In the story realm, we are moving steadily along on both fronts! Progress on TLOF has been made, however little that was, and the next chapter of Super is outlined and ready to be filled out for next Sunday! Because one day I saw the Newbie Artist Training Ground prompt that asked for a pony in action, I decided to say 'why the fuck not' and draw a picture of my Applejack-Marevelous 'bout to throw a punch. This lead me to figure out how to shade in Clip and in color at that, and I was happy enough with that probably four hour work to call it a cover. Her right 'foreleg/arm' is a little long, and she's super lean with human muscles, but who cares about that right? (certainly not the over critical perfectionist that I am.)
