Today's episode is much better than the previous two episodes we have seen, especially last weeks.
The problem I am addressing is how Changelings increase their numbers. If you read The New Timeline (as I will link here), you'll see my own take on the origins of the Changelings.
So, how can I address this?
Akin to the Aligned continuity in Transformers, Changelings are like Insecticons. The ones cursed by Sombra, including Chrysalis herself are the first batch. Overtime, each brood of Changelings, through a designated birth mother akin to The Giver, becomes gradually inferior to the point that they immediately serve Chrysalis' will without question. Individuals such as Thorax and Blackarachnia are result of genetic mutations, much more superior than the other drones.
Now, what about the future of the story? Since Thorax is now an Equestrian (if there are similar immigration policies as we have), some secrets regarding Changelings could be given, including some lethal weapons.
Thus would be the subject of my speculative Season 6 finale, "Where is Thy Sting." To be worked on before I begin work on the second person story "Vacant Niches."
